INDIAN NAVY POST

INDIAN NAVY ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA, EXAMINATION DETAILS

• Exam SSR and AA (1&2)
• The form will release in the middle of December and June. The exam will be held in the month of March and September.
• AA: candidates must have passed 10+2 with equivalent with subject physics and maths by score 60% marks in equivalent.
• For SSR: candidates must have passed 10+2 to equivalent with physics and maths.

MODE OF EXAM

• First is written exam
• Secondly physical fitness test
• After that medical test

AGE LIMIT, AND MARTIAL STATUS

• The candidates should have got between 17 to 20 Only the unmarried male Indian citizens and subjects of Nepal and Bhutan
• The selection of the candidates recruit based in the order of the merit of the performance in the written examination, qualifying PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (PFT) and fitness in the medical examination.
• The question paper will be bilingual Hindi as well as English and objectives type questions. The question paper will comprise four sections ENGLISH, GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SCIENCE, AND MATHS.
• The standards of the question are based on the topic you will learn in 10+2 and the syllabus is present on the website https://www.joinindiannavy.gov.in/
• Duration of questions paper will be of one hour. The applicants are required to pass in all districts and in summation.

PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST

In PFT it consists of 1.6 km run to be completed in 7 min, 20 squats ups, and 10 push-ups. The candidates undergoing PFT will do so as their own risk. Those candidates who qualified will call up for a medical test

MEDICAL FITNESS REQUIRED FOR INDIAN NAVY

• Medical intelligence test will be administrated by sanctioned military doctors as per the medical standard destined in current regulation actionable only for sailor entry.
• The minimum height required for the candidates is 157 cm. Weight and Chest should be proportionate. Minimum chest expansion of 5cms
• Initial medical test for reclamation will be calculated only “impermanent fit to subject to fitness in the final medical intelligence test”.
• The final medical test of all selected candidates will be done at INS Chika. Candidates, who are not found medically fit in the final medical test at INS CHILKA, will not be enrolled for training. No “Appeal” is permitted for review after the final enrollment medical intelligence test at INS Chika.
